Well its mid January already and the snowdrops are coming out. I've started a new adult class and have started doing pottery throwing workshops again.
If you get the chance, watch the Great Pottery Throwdown. Its really wonderful. The judges are so in love with the beautiful craft of ceramics, it's wonderful to see.
This week I have learnt that my classes mean so much to people because they not only teach beautiful skills but also sooth and give a sense of peace. You can see this also in the Throwdown, everyone is treated with so much acceptance and respect.
I was very blessed to be surrounded by art, music and culture growing up and very artistic, cultured and musical people, it's a gift.
