Chloe Augusta
I have been an artist all my life. My very talented family of artists, craftsmen and writers, have always inspired me. Some of my earliest memories are of painting dots on one of my parent's paintings or of creating pottery with my grandfather. I love a sublime Rembrandt painting to a Andy Warhol Pop Art Piece, celebrating all art for its pure humanity.
I taught Art in Cheshire schools, including the Hammond school and The Winsford Academy until 2016 when I set up on my own in order to concentrate on teaching treasured traditional drawing and painting skills with out the constraints of mainstream education.
My personal practice is observational drawing, landscape oil painting and photography. I also make ceramics.
I take inspiration from the natural world. I particularly love water, reeds and the endlessly fascinating environment where I live.
