Chloe Augusta

I have been painting, drawing and crafting since childhood, heralding from a highly artistic family. (the-guild-of-st-joseph-and-st-dominic-ditchling-sussex)

In regard to art school, I studied art at Plymouth college of Art and Design, El Taller Rufino Tamayo, Mexico, The University of Liverpool and trained in teaching art at the University of Chester.

I taught Art in Cheshire schools, including the Hammond school and The Winsford Academy until 2016 when I set up on my own in order to concentrate on teaching treasured traditional drawing and painting skills with out the constraints of mainstream education.

My personal art work takes inspiration from the natural world and a sense of the magical discovered in Welsh landscapes, continuing on the family tradition of connecting to the spiritual. My depictions are both semi - realistic and evocative, aiming to capture a sense of beauty and wonder at the natural world.
