July Newsletter

‘I have nature and art and poetry, and if that is not enough, what is enough?’― Vincent Willem Van Gogh

I hope you’ve all been well. This newsletter is  intended to provide   a run down of the new workshops on offer in the final months of summer. I am deeply excited to see new faces, and old, in the final few weeks of sun!

Pottery

Two types of pottery workshops are available.

Summer Holiday Pottery Workshop

A simple summer holiday pottery workshop, including use of the pottery wheel and a traditional kiln finish on the pots.

RAKU firing workshop

This workshop includes use of the pottery wheel and uses out-of-the kiln firing techniques to create a unique finish on the pots.

Painting

A landscape workshop located in the Parkgate studio, using paint ink and bleach to create paintings of the Parkgate marsh. Available for sign up through email and website.

Student Exhibition

As usual there will be a student exhibition this upcoming autumn term. It will be held at the new Parkgate Studio from 6-8pm on the 15th of September. Students are currently working towards their exhibition pieces, and I am looking forward to seeing them all displayed.

Enjoy the sun, keep practicing, and get in touch for any further information!

Workshops are available for sign up on my website, with a special 10% off for current students.
