Art in Chester Classes For Adults – Art In Chester

Classes For Adults

Classes are designed to teach the underlying skills necessary to become a confident artist and ‘draw and paint anything.` The majority of my adult students come to me not having created art since school. They soon learn and make work they are proud of.

My art classes are different because I am a trained art teacher with 12 years experience teaching art to all ages and abilities, which means I really teach you well, with clear direction and techniques. It delights me when a student masters a technique or learns to do something they never thought they would achieve.

Classes are small and friendly in the beautiful location of Great Barrow, only ten minutes from Chester.

Painting and Drawing have been proven to have many benefits, including stress reduction, increased well being and improved mental cognition. It is not necessary to have experience, drawing and painting can be learned like any subject.

I have attended about a dozen of the Wednesday “Methods, Materials and Skills” classes. My previous art experience was at school, many years ago, so I am virtually a complete beginner. Chloe’s informal and enthusiastic workshops are just right for me. Ability level doesn’t matter. We all experiment, learn and most of all enjoy. For those with some art skills already, this is a forum for practice and taking things to a next level. Chloe, well qualified, has strong art technique and practical experience, AND …. a wicked sense of humour. People attending her classes will be inspired!
